Abstract
The aim of this article is to discuss the pacifist arguments against war presented by Bocheński in De Virtuti Militari. The critique of these arguments was used to develop the principles of a just war theory. The practical aim of this theory was to show the moral character of war to the soldiers fighting in World War II.
