Joseph M. Bocheński’s Theory of Analogy: Semantic or Formal?
Abstract
The main aim of the article is to reconstruct and explain Bocheński’s semantic theory of analogy. In the text, I also point to some fundamental problems in Bocheński’s proposal and suggest a new direction for his theory of analogy – an informational theory of analogy.
