Abstract This article is an expression and an attempt to justify the belief that hermeneutic philosophy is an interpretation of the rationality’s concept. Although hermeneutics itself is a critique of a certain form of rationalism, and therefore falls under charges “irrationality”, the concept of reason is an essential component of its identity as a philosophy.
