Abstract


In my article I compare two concepts of morality two representatives of the philosophy of the Enlightenment of Immanuel Kant and David Hume. The main issue undertaken in the text is the problem of empathy. I show the Kantian categorical imperative in its content is similar to postulate Humean sympathy and benevolence.
